Insulet Investors Face August 31 Deadline for Class Action Participation

Investors who purchased Insulet Corporation securities between February 21, 2025, and May 26, 2026, have until August 31, 2026, to file as lead plaintiffs in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation, Hu v. Insulet Corporation, centers on allegations of defective manufacturing controls and misleading disclosures regarding product safety.

The lawsuit, filed in the District of Massachusetts, claims that Insulet’s executive officers failed to properly disclose the scope of manufacturing issues that eventually triggered multiple voluntary Medical Device Corrections. Plaintiffs allege that these procedural failures led to heightened risks of injury and insulin under-delivery across several product lines, including Omnipod 5, Omnipod Dash, and Omnipod Eros.

Market impact followed the company's disclosures in early 2026. After Insulet reported a manufacturing issue on March 12, 2026, the company's stock price dropped nearly 7%. A subsequent disclosure on May 26, 2026, regarding further product corrections resulted in a decline of more than 5%. Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, the firm representing the class, is currently accepting inquiries from shareholders seeking to serve as lead plaintiff. Under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, the selected lead plaintiff will oversee the litigation process on behalf of the broader investor group.
