National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame Opens 2027 Nominations
Lexington, Kentucky, will host the 2027 induction ceremony as the National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame begins its search for the next class of honorees. Nominations for active, retired, or fallen professionals are open through October 31, 2026, marking a new chapter for the organization’s national recognition efforts.

Submissions are currently accepted via the organization's website. The Hall of Fame recognizes candidates across several categories, including the Distinguished Service Award, the Courage in Service Award, and the K9 Award for exceptional canine teams. Additionally, The McDavid Group Never Forgotten Award honors the legacies of those whose contributions remain central to the profession's history. By expanding the reach of these awards, the institution seeks to solidify its commitment to honoring the diverse achievements of law enforcement personnel nationwide.
