The collaboration builds upon a four-decade relationship between the two companies, integrating Emerson’s broad portfolio of flow meters, control systems, and emissions management tools into Equinor’s digital roadmap. By embedding these technologies, Equinor aims to extend the productive life of its fields and meet shifting energy demands across Europe.

Slawomir Suchomski, president of Emerson Europe, highlighted that the agreement specifically supports Equinor’s Norwegian Continental Shelf 2035 initiatives. Beyond basic hardware, the deal includes comprehensive lifecycle services designed to optimize performance and safety. This strategic alignment serves as a benchmark for how Equinor intends to leverage automation to stabilize output while accelerating the development of new energy projects.
