The deal requires CB&I to manage a structured transition from the incumbent provider, focusing on the stabilization of production and the long-term integrity of the vessel. The company intends to leverage its existing regional infrastructure to meet class certification requirements and ensure the facility remains operational throughout the contract term.

CB&I Lands Three-Year Offshore Operations Contract in Côte d’Ivoire
A Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel off the coast of Côte d’Ivoire will soon come under the management of CB&I. The firm secured a three-year contract valued between $50 million and $100 million to oversee operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance for the offshore asset.

Sandy Merson, Senior Vice President of Asset Operations, highlighted that the project aligns with the company’s two-decade history in Africa. Beyond technical execution, the contract emphasizes the development of local supply chains and the expansion of the Ivorian workforce. While the client remains anonymous per standard communication policies, the engagement marks a significant expansion of CB&I’s Asset Solutions unit, which is currently owned by a consortium led by Mason Capital Management LLC.
