The proposed arrangement simplifies the infrastructure for brokerage firms, allowing them to offer crypto event contracts without establishing separate agreements for trade execution and clearing. Gemini Titan, which secured its Designated Contract Market license from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in December 2025, will handle these processes directly. While the current agreement centers on crypto, the companies may expand their collaboration to include sports, economic, and financial event contracts on a non-exclusive basis.
This partnership marks a significant expansion for Gemini’s prediction market business, which launched less than a year ago. By the second quarter of 2026, the platform recorded over 225 million event contracts traded and 27,000 cumulative users. The integration is supported by Gemini’s internal infrastructure, specifically the Olympus subsidiary, which received approval to operate as a Derivatives Clearing Organization in April. This allows Gemini to manage the full derivatives trade lifecycle internally, a capability that went live on August 4.
