Super League raises $2.23M in ATM offering ahead of Metaplanet deal

Super League Enterprise has secured approximately $2.23 million through its first at-the-market stock offering, a move that provides fresh capital as the Nasdaq-listed firm prepares to transition into a U.S. Bitcoin treasury platform under the control of Japan’s Metaplanet.

The company sold 475,598 common shares under an agreement established in mid-August. While the specific pricing per sale varied, the gross proceeds equate to an average of roughly $4.69 per share. Following this initial allocation, Super League amended its program to authorize the sale of an additional $2.27 million in common stock, potentially bringing total fundraising to $4.5 million.

This financing coincides with a broader restructuring that will see the company rebranded as Superplanet. Metaplanet has agreed to contribute 2,100 BTC and $2.5 million in cash, securing a controlling stake in the business. The deal, which remains subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. Once finalized, the U.S.-listed entity will integrate Bitcoin holdings into its existing advertising and playable-media operations, with Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich positioning the move as a strategy to tap into American capital markets.
