The company’s financial health reflects a clear shift toward non-livestreaming sectors, which now account for 31.8% of total revenue. Social entertainment remains the largest contributor at $422.7 million, while the BIGO Ads division saw a sharp 53.1% year-over-year revenue jump to $133.7 million. SHOPLINE, the company’s e-commerce arm, also accelerated its growth to $34.4 million, benefiting from a 73.5% surge in cross-border merchant activity.

Bolstered by improved operational leverage, JOYY has raised its full-year expectations, targeting a 20% year-over-year growth in non-GAAP operating income. The company maintains a strong liquidity position with $3.06 billion in net cash as of June 30, 2026. This stability has enabled an aggressive capital return strategy, with $358.8 million returned to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases between January and August of this year. CEO Ting Li noted that the company is leveraging foundational AI technologies to refine its multi-engine growth strategy, focusing on long-term value creation across its global platforms.
