Industrial Physics Acquires Test Equipment Specialist Vitrek
Industrial Physics has acquired Lockport-based Vitrek LLC, a move that marks the fifth exit for Branford Castle Partners’ inaugural fund. The transaction integrates Vitrek’s precision electrical safety and jet engine balancing systems into the global measurement group, which is currently backed by funds affiliated with KKR.
Stifel served as the lead investment banking advisor for the transaction, with legal counsel provided by Akerman LLP and accounting support from RSM. Financing for the exit involved Pelham S2K and Farragut Capital Partners. For Industrial Physics, the acquisition adds a specialized player to a portfolio that already spans 19 industries across 75 countries, further strengthening its footprint in the material and coating measurement sector.
