Bullish Backs GPU Financing with $100 Million USD.AI Credit Line

Bullish has launched a $100 million stablecoin-based debt facility for USD.AI, marking a significant move to bankroll high-performance computing hardware. By treating GPUs as collateral for on-chain lending, the platform aims to formalize an emerging credit sector that now rivals the scale of traditional automotive and home equity debt markets.

The deal leverages the deep liquidity of the Bullish Exchange to provide USD.AI with the capital necessary to offer non-dilutive loans to AI infrastructure operators. Beyond the immediate financing, Bullish will integrate sUSDai into its trading ecosystem, launching a dedicated market-making program to improve price discovery for compute-backed assets. Thomas Cowan, Head of Tokenization at Bullish, noted that the protocol’s on-chain transparency allowed the firm to apply institutional-grade underwriting standards to the hardware-backed debt.

David Choi, CEO of Permian Labs, the developer behind USD.AI, described the partnership as a catalyst for broadening institutional access to compute credit. The collaboration extends to a joint research initiative intended to refine how capital formation models function within the AI hardware sector. By bridging on-chain liquidity with the tangible demand for AI compute capacity, both firms are positioning themselves to capture the shift toward tokenized real-world assets at institutional scale.
