With South Korea’s regulatory shift toward tokenized securities set for February 2027, Koscom is positioning itself as the backbone of the industry. Koscom Prepares Tokenized Securities Push for Korea Fintech Week

The event, held at the aT Center in Seoul from November 25 to 27, marks a critical milestone for the Financial Services Commission’s new framework. Koscom’s platform aims to streamline the issuance, account management, and cross-system integration required for the emerging market of tokenized stocks, bonds, and fractional investment products. Development efforts have already reached a functional stage following joint infrastructure work with LG CNS and rigorous testing within the Korea Securities Depository’s volume management testbed.

Competition is heating up as major domestic players race to establish their own technical foundations. Hanwha Investment & Securities has already deployed a platform utilizing Avalanche and Hyperledger Besu, while KB Securities is leveraging the OP Mainnet in collaboration with Securitize. Eugene Investment & Securities is currently testing stablecoin settlement mechanisms to bridge traditional subscriptions with blockchain-based assets. Alongside its tokenized infrastructure, Koscom will unveil K-EFS, an AI-driven stock prediction service built with LG AI Research, while offering consultations on financial cloud programs and the D-Testbed initiative for fintech developers.
