CGI Federal Updates Momentum Suite to Automate Government Financial Tasks
Federal agencies now have access to Momentum 8.4, a major software release from CGI Federal designed to reduce administrative burdens through artificial intelligence and automated compliance. The update targets core financial, acquisition, and budget management workflows, aiming to help government departments modernize operations while meeting shifting federal regulatory demands.
Compliance remains a central theme, with Momentum 8.4 serving as the first core financial system on the Treasury’s FM QSMO Marketplace to integrate directly with GO.gov. This connection facilitates the processing of travel authorizations and vouchers. Additionally, the software includes new links to the IRS Information Returns Intake System. To support these functions, CGI Federal has launched six action-oriented workspaces tailored for specific tasks, such as budget execution and intra-governmental transaction management.
