Duluth Trading and WD-40 Launch Limited-Edition Workwear Collection

Mount Horeb-based Duluth Trading Co. has partnered with WD-40 Brand to release a ten-piece collection of apparel and gear. The collaboration blends the signature blue-and-yellow aesthetic of the iconic lubricant manufacturer with Duluth’s rugged, utility-focused designs, aiming to outfit the traditional do-it-yourself demographic in functional, branded workwear.

Duluth Trading and WD-40 Launch Limited-Edition Workwear Collection

The limited-edition line draws inspiration from the history of the WD-40 Multi-Use Product, which debuted in 1953. According to Ricker Schlecht, Senior Vice President of Product Development at Duluth Trading, the partnership emphasizes a shared commitment to practical problem-solving. The collection repurposes classic Duluth staples, including their durable Fire Hose gear, Heritage hoodies, and Buck Naked underwear, incorporating specific graphics and color schemes synonymous with the lubricant brand.

Items range from a 5.95 dollar WD-40 Precision Pen to a 94.95 dollar Souped-Up fleece robe. Other pieces include a tool bag, a baseball cap with a dedicated slot for a carpenter pencil, and a Beer Pocket hoodie redesigned to accommodate a can of lubricant. Dusan Racic, Director of Global Innovation at WD-40 Company, noted that the project is intended to extend the brand's presence beyond the garage and workshop environment. The collection is currently available through Duluth Trading's website and across their 60 retail locations nationwide.
