Dilmah Secures Innovation and Sustainability Honors at SIAL Paris 2026

The SIAL Innovation Paris 2026 selection committee highlighted three specific Dilmah entries for their originality and environmental impact: the Elevrie Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Tea collection, the Sparkling Iced Tea line, and the Windsor Forest Luxury tea range, the latter lauded for its home-compostable cotton tea bag technology. These products will be showcased in the event’s dedicated innovation zone, having been vetted by an international jury of industry experts.

Beyond product design, Dilmah achieved a top-five finalist position in the Large Companies category for SIAL For Change. This distinction honors the company’s long-standing commitment to social responsibility, specifically the work of the MJF Charitable Foundation and Dilmah Conservation. By directing 15% of pre-tax profits toward community welfare and environmental preservation, the firm distinguished itself from 226 initial global applicants. Chairman Dilhan C. Fernando noted that this dual recognition validates the company’s founding philosophy, which treats innovation and sustainability as inseparable objectives. The final winners will be announced during the awards ceremonies held on October 17 and 18 in Paris.
