The victory earns him the Bill Daniels National Civics Award and a $100,000 education savings plan, concluding a competition that drew 20,000 entrants nationwide.
Araoluwakiitan Afolabi from Florida and Carolyn Taylor from Michigan joined Daniell on the podium, taking home $25,000 and $15,000 in prize money, respectively.
