The site is hitting critical milestones as it shifts from construction to operational readiness. Electrical infrastructure has reached a major juncture, with the 33kV overhead line commissioned to the transformer yard. Lindian Resources Targets December Production at Kangankunde
With key processing equipment installed and ore stockpiles climbing to 149,000 tonnes, Lindian Resources is entering the final construction phase at its Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Malawi. The company remains on track to deliver its first monazite concentrate by December 2026, marking a pivotal transition toward becoming an active producer.

Structural progress across the processing circuits is nearing completion. Workers have finished installing the regrind mill, while structural steel work for the WHIMS and MGS areas stands at 90% capacity. Shaking tables are also 80% complete, providing the backbone for the upcoming separation process. As the physical plant takes shape, the company has begun training initial operating personnel and is finalizing logistics contracts to ensure the concentrate reaches its destination once production begins.
