ATLAS functions as a backend engine for trading and settlement, deliberately omitting a consumer-facing interface. Instead, the platform relies on third-party venues to manage user distribution and front-end experiences. The architecture splits operations into three distinct roles: trading venues provide market access, market creators define product parameters, and market makers supply liquidity. The engine supports a broad range of assets, including spot markets, perpetual contracts, stocks, commodities, and bonds.
The project’s economic model incentivizes the ZRO token through a fee-sharing mechanism. After deducting venue rebates—which range from 20% to 65% depending on staking and volume—the remaining fees are split between market creators and ZRO buybacks. Specifically, 75% of the post-rebate revenue is designated for purchasing and burning ZRO, a strategy designed to support the token's ecosystem.
