Starting June 15, the company is rolling out three new flavors—Lemon Lime Mint, Orange Mint, and Grapefruit Mint—that incorporate its signature herb blend with a touch of Swiss Alpine Salt. The product aims to capture the on-the-go consumer, targeting moments like post-workout recovery or long days spent outdoors. According to Becky Spruck, Senior Director of Marketing for Ricola USA, the innovation serves as an entry into a new category where functional benefits meet sensory satisfaction.

Ricola pivots from medicine cabinet to everyday lifestyle staple
Ricola is shedding its exclusive association with the sick day, launching a line of citrus-infused drops designed to combat dry mouth during peak summer activity. The move marks a strategic departure from the brand’s traditional cough-and-cold heritage, positioning the Swiss manufacturer for the daily consumer market.
To support the transition, Ricola is launching an expansive marketing campaign across digital, social, and out-of-home platforms. The strategy includes high-energy activations at events such as the Bentonville Bike Fest and partnerships with minor league baseball teams like the Arkansas Travelers. The drops will be available nationally at major retailers including Target, Walmart, and Amazon throughout the summer.
