The rebranding consolidates over 60 years of combined industry experience under a single platform. ArmorWorks, long recognized for its survivability solutions—including blast-attenuating seating and nuclear protection—acquired the precision fabricator Fox Valley Metal Tech to broaden its manufacturing footprint. Operating as a portfolio company of Littlejohn Capital, the unified entity now leverages dual facilities in Chandler, Arizona, and Green Bay, Wisconsin, to pursue large-scale, multi-domain defense contracts.

ArmorWorks and Fox Valley Metal Tech Rebrand as Ravelin Defense
A triangular fortification designed to absorb threats before they reach the core, the ravelin, now serves as the namesake for a newly unified defense manufacturing giant. ArmorWorks Enterprises and its subsidiary Fox Valley Metal Tech have officially merged their identities into Ravelin Defense, completing a strategic integration process that began in 2024.

Kevin Dahlin, Chief Executive Officer of Ravelin Defense, noted that the move reflects a reality already in place since the 2024 acquisition. While the name is new, all existing contracts, certifications, and customer relationships remain in full effect. By aligning their capabilities in signature management, situational awareness, and complex metal fabrication, the company aims to secure larger program opportunities across land, sea, and air sectors.
