Sean Maraynes Returns to Wilson Elser as Medical Malpractice Partner
After a six-year departure, trial attorney Sean Maraynes has rejoined Wilson Elser as a partner in the firm’s White Plains office. Maraynes, who previously served as of counsel, brings extensive experience in defending high-exposure medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury litigation throughout the New York metropolitan region.

Lori Semlies, cochair of the firm's Medical Malpractice & Health Care Practice, noted that Maraynes’ background in high-stakes casualty matters aligns with the firm’s strategy for handling technical defense cases. Before his initial stint at Wilson Elser, Maraynes served five years as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, where he prosecuted a range of violent crimes, including homicides. A member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, he holds a law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
