The largest recall involves 70,410 GOPO pull-string teething toys following three reports of strings reaching children’s throats and causing respiratory distress. Other notable safety failures include 3,700 Veseacky pajama sets and 160 Michley children's pajamas, both failing to meet mandatory federal flammability standards. Additionally, 5,000 Arizer Solo III portable vaporizers were recalled after the agency received four reports of batteries igniting or exploding.

CPSC Issues Urgent Recalls for Toys, Apparel, and Safety Gear
More than 88,000 consumer products, ranging from children’s sleepwear and toys to spa drain covers and portable vaporizers, have been pulled from the market this week. The Consumer Product Safety Commission warns these items pose significant risks including fire, choking, entrapment, and severe burn hazards to users.

Hardware and utility items are also under scrutiny. Consumers are advised to stop using 340 spa drain covers sold by Arrogantf that violate the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act, presenting severe entrapment and drowning risks. Furthermore, 3,840 Joolz Aer2 car seat adapters were recalled due to detachment issues, and 2,355 CooCooBaby loungers were flagged for suffocation hazards. Federal law strictly prohibits the sale or distribution of any products identified in these Commission-ordered or voluntary recalls.
